Hey, I'm Senuri

Welcome to Becoming Better-ish, a space I created for anyone who’s ever felt a little lost in the world of “self-improvement.”

For a long time, I felt like personal growth was something I was failing at. Like if I wasn’t perfectly disciplined, constantly productive, and effortlessly balanced, then I wasn’t “doing it right.” But I soon came to realize that life doesn’t really work that way. Growth isn’t a straight line, and it rarely looks like the perfectly curated version we see online.

Becoming Better-ish was born out of that realization: that getting better doesn’t mean becoming perfect. It’s about making small shifts, learning through setbacks, and giving yourself grace while you figure things out. It’s about celebrating the tiny wins, surviving the messy middle, and understanding that progress can be imperfect — and still be progress.

Through this blog, I hope to create a space that feels honest and human. A space where we can talk about healing, personal growth, self-care, and building better habits without the pressure of having it all figured out.

But more than that — I want this to become a community. Not just my story, but our stories. Every two weeks, I’ll be sharing interviews and stories from everyday people who’ve overcome their own challenges — because I believe there’s so much we can learn from real experiences that often go unheard. You don’t need to be famous or have it all together to have wisdom to share.

If you’re looking for a space where you can feel seen in your progress, where your small wins matter, and where growth feels accessible instead of overwhelming — you’re in the right place.

Here’s to becoming better-ish, together.
